The Mercenary's Grenade Rifle is a unique weapon in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Courier's Stash.
Gameplay
The Mercenary's Grenade Rifle is a unique variant of the Grenade Rifle. It weighs 0.5 lbs less than the standard variant and has zero skill requirements. Unlike the majority of unique weapons variants, it can be modded with the Grenade Rifle Long Barrel.
Durability
The Mercenary's Grenade Rifle can fire a total of about 495 standard rounds from full condition before breaking.
Modifications
- Grenade Rifle Long Barrel - Doubles projectile velocity and effective range.
Variants
- Grenade Rifle - the common variant found throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
- Thump-Thump - found in Nellis Air Force Base, on the generator room floor.
Great Bear Grenade Rifle - a unique variant found in the Long 15.- Red Victory Grenade Rifle - a unique variant located in Dry Wells.

Locations
Originally, the only way to acquire this weapon was by redeeming the code that came with the pre-order exclusive Mercenary Pack. It can now also be acquired by purchasing the Courier's Stash add-on.
Notes
The Grunt perk has no effect on this weapon.
Behind the scenes
Joshua Sawyer stated that the weapon is "is based off of the M79."[Dev 1]
Bugs
Damage done by this weapon does not contribute to the 'Aiming is Optional' challenge.
