The Modding Resource Catalogue (MRC) is a website for finding Fallout 4 and Starfield related resources like guides and tutorials, mods, patches, tools, support venues and other general information.
What is MRC?
While MRC focuses on content from non-Nexus sources like Discord Servers, Github sites and repositories, personal websites, wikis, online videos and documents, links to Nexus content can be also found there. As long as those resources are available for free!
Resources are not hosted on MRC, just linked.
MRC also provides a robust search engine for finding resources by game, owner (author), category, tag and textural content.
Why Use MRC?
While Nexus is a hub for some resources, the majority are mods and patches. Also, after Nexit/Nexodus (August 2021), Fallout 4 resources became even more widely distributed across the internet and are now hosted on numerous platforms. Providing a way to find and discover all these resources is why I created MRC.
Resource Owners
In MRC terms, a resource owner is an individual or group who has a resource like a guide, tutorial, mod, patch, tool, Discord server, GitHub repository, website or wiki and shares them for free.
MRC provides a platform for owners to promote their resources, while increasing the chances of them being discovered by gamers searching for similar resources.
Owner resources also contain related links to other MRC resources and external sources, like online documentation and support venues.

Users
As mentioned above, resources are everywhere and while the big search engines do a decent job of helping you find them, they are not as focused as MRC. If a resource is listed in MRC, it can easily be found by various means, which I am always working towards improving. Please see the MRC Roadmap for more details.
