The Protect-O-Bot is a Protectron, developed by RobCo before the Great War.

Background

A well-funded experiment, the Protect-O-Bot's lack of safety standards were far too insurmountable even for teams of RobCo lawyers. Despite never having reached mass market production, the robot is on display at REPCONN Headquarters as part of the museum tour, described as "a robot moving so fast it looks like it's standing still!"

Gameplay

The Protect-O-Bot is a Protectron variant with three wheels, found laying parallel with the ground upon a museum pedestal. Its midsection and head are those of a Protectron.

While safety standards prevented this free-wheeling dynamo from entering mass market production despite RobCo's best intentions and teams of lawyers, we take consolation in letting you can see this extremely well-funded experiment as it was intended - a robot moving so fast it looks like it's standing still!
