Brick's the name, and I call this fine looking roomsweeper Eugene.— Brick

Eugene is a unique weapon in Fallout 3.

Background

Publications

Minigun: Eugene
Complete Miscellaneous Quest: Reilly’s Rangers at the Ranger Compound (Zone 18.06) and you can choose this as a possible reward. Comparing the firepower with the regular Minigun shows that Eugene is an excellent choice. With a good Repair skill, it can be kept in great condition. Miniguns are as common as their ammo, and the weapon is hard-wearing—a necessity if you plan on using a Minigun.

Locations

Can be obtained from completing the Reilly's Rangers quest and asking for it as a reward, or by pick-pocketing or killing Brick in the Statesman Hotel or the Ranger Compound.

Notes

  • It is possible to receive two by injuring Brick enough during the escape for her to get killed by the Super Mutants. It can then be looted from her dead body along with Ranger Battle Armor. As long as at least one member of the rangers survives, a second Eugene can then be obtained from Reilly.
  • Killing Brick (unless she is killed by the player character in either the Super Mutant attack on the roof or in the lobby) and taking it results in all of the Rangers becoming hostile, whether they witnessed her death or not. If one kills Brick, they cannot get Caps from geomapping with Reilly anymore.
  • It is possible to pickpocket Eugene from Brick at the Ranger Compound after completing the Reilly's Rangers quest.
