Nelson Latimer is an associate of the Triggermen living in Diamond City in Fallout 4.

Background

The son of wealthy Malcom Latimer, Nelson Latimer is an arrogant young man who uses his father's money to fuel his career as a criminal.[1][2] He and Henry Cooke are business partners, together they buy chems from Marowski in Goodneighbor via his contact Trish,[1][3] and smuggle them into Diamond City in order to bypass the cut that Mayor McDonough usually receives from all drugs that reach the town.[4] He disagrees with Cooke's cut and might be thinking of operating independently in the future.[5]

  • If he is killed in the ambush, his body will remain at its location indefinitely. In addition, Malcolm Latimer will confront the Sole Survivor about their involvement in his son's death.
    • The Sole Survivor may also be attacked by Triggermen at random, this can be stopped by apologizing and paying Malcolm Latimer 2,000 caps or by killing him.

References

  1. 1.0 1.1 Sole Survivor: "Who's Nelson Latimer?"
Henry Cooke: "Malcolm's kid. An arrogant little pissant. But useful since he has all the money in the world, and likes to think of himself as a budding crime boss. Me and Nelson are supposed to be meeting some gentlemen from Goodneighbor to exchange Nelson's cash for their chems."
    (Henry Cooke's dialogue)
  2. Sole Survivor: "Let's hear this plan of yours."
Henry Cooke: "Here's the deal. I have some other... businesses on the side. One of them is helping Nelson Latimer spend his dad's money to make himself feel like a gangster."
    (Henry Cooke's dialogue)
  3. Trish: "Marowski's not going to be happy about you guys jerking us around like this."
    (Trish's dialogue)
  4. Sole Survivor: "Why smuggle chems into Diamond City? Chems aren't illegal here."
Henry Cooke: "Sure, but Mayor McDonough takes a big cut of all the chems brought into town. Not everybody thinks that's good business. That's where me and Nelson come in. He fronts the cash, I make the arrangements. Cheap chems for Diamond City. Everybody wins. Anything else?"
    (Henry Cooke's dialogue)
  5. Sole Survivor: "Why do you want to screw these guys over all of a sudden?"
Henry Cooke: "Oh, it isn't all of a sudden. Nelson's been complaining about my cut for a while now. He may be thinking about trying to strike out on his own. I've been waiting for the right opportunity to present itself. And here it is. Anything else?"
    (Henry Cooke's dialogue)
