You know, sometimes if you're doing poorly and can't do a task just right, that's okay. Do as much as you can and be proud of it.

Aubrie Willem[1] is a member of the Settlers residing in Foundation.

Background

A medical practitioner with over thirty years of experience, Aubrie Willem is one of the co-founders of Foundation and its primary medical doctor. Prior to the Great War, he lived in Pennsylvania and worked as a medical practitioner.[2] He was asked by Paige to set up an observation camp nearby.[3] He was the only survivor of a Scorched attack and fled to a secluded cave.

Quests

  • Here to Stay: Before Paige agrees to let the Settlers get inoculated, Aubrie must be convinced.

Effects of player's actions

Depending on the player's actions, he will either return to Foundation to inform Paige of the reality of the Scorched Plague or remain in quarantine, eventually leading him to commit suicide. If convinced to return to Foundation, he can be found in his office, and will thank the player for telling him there is a vaccine to the Scorched Plague so he wouldn't have to quarantine himself to protect the rest of the Settlers from becoming infected themselves.

  2. Vault Dweller: All I know is there's an inoculation and you need to convince Paige to let me help you.
Aubrie Willem: I was a doctor back in Pennsylvania. If Paige needs convincing you can tell him I'm behind you all the way. After experiencing those... Scorched, first hand? That's not something I want to lose anymore people to.
  3. Paige: I'll tell you what. One of my own is a doctor. Aubrie. I sent him ahead to start up an observation camp. Get the lay of things. You talk to him about this. If he's convinced, then I'm convinced, too. Deal?
