Nuka-Cola Dark is a consumable item in Fallout 76.
Background
Nuka-Cola Dark was the company's attempt at entering the alcoholic beverage market. The beverage was touted as "the most thirst-quenching way to unwind," with 35% alcoholic content per volume. Those partaking in the drink were recommended to not operate motor vehicles or heavy machinery for at least eight hours after drinking it, and encourage women who are pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant to avoid the drink.
Gameplay
A dark-colored alcohol made from Nuka-Cola and distilled snaptail reeds. It increases Strength and Endurance by one while also lowering Perception by one.
Similar to other fermentable beverages, Nuka-Cola Dark is initially crafted as fermentable Nuka-Cola Dark, offering no benefits and having a significantly high disease chance of 9% until fully fermented. It shares the same rocket-shaped bottle as other iterations of Nuka-Cola, but is darker in color and has a distinct decorative label.
Crafting
Nuka-Cola Dark can be crafted using the brewing and distilling functionality of Wild Appalachia.

Locations
- It can be purchased from Bubbles, upstairs in the Whitespring Resort, or crafted at a brewing station.
- One can be found at the Eta Psi House at Fraternity Row, inside the basement's Nuka-Cola room.
Notes
- Unlike other fermentable pre-War beverages, fermentable Nuka-Cola Dark doesn't inflict 30 rads when consumed.
- The Nuka-Cola Dark recipe can be awarded by doing the Wasted on Alcohol daily quest as a random reward.
