Doctor Adam Figgis, MD PhD DVM DDM DD was the test supervisor at the X-8 Research Center in Big MT.

Background

As the test supervisor, he was responsible for the hands-on testing at the X-8 Research Center. When the X-8 received the Sonic Emitter from the X-13 Research Facility, it was incorporated into their data retrieval test simulations. He issued the notice that the weapon was not to leave the facility due to security concerns.

After a shipping mistake that sent Nightstalkers to the X-8 research facility by accident, they broke free in the loading area and started causing havoc. He, along with the other supervisors, decided to add these creatures to the ongoing data retrieval tests to see what their behavior was before removing them from the facility.

He was also the one who notified the staff of Projects Burke and Hare. To quell their concerns, he admitted to the former amounting to grave robbing, citing budget cuts to acquire test subjects. However, he would not admit to the latter accusation that Project Hare had to do with organized murder to acquire corpses.

Following an incident in the X-12 Research Center regarding Mr. Harris' death in a Y-17 Trauma Override Harness, Figgis was contacted by Barb, who asked for assistance. Figgis decided to arm the response team with the K9000 Cyberdog Gun; however, they dropped the weapon when confronted by the harness, and it was left in the harness' possession. Barb later informed Figgis of this unfortunate development.

Figgis had five doctorates in Medicine, Philosophy, Veterinary medicine, Dissertations in Musicology and Divinity.
