Project: Hare was the code name for Big Mountain Research and Development Center's resource acquirement project.
Project: Hare was dedicated to the acquiring of deceased human specimens for Big Mountain experimentation. The acquisition details of such were controversial in nature and allegedly involved liquidating non-military targets.
These rumors were denied by the test supervisor, Dr. Adam Figgis, along with similar rumors surrounding its sister project, Project Burke. The acquisition choices made for both projects were professed by Dr. Figgis to be caused by "budget cuts."
