Demonstration Vault

The Demonstration Vault is a location underneath The Cathedral.

Background

Conceals the headquarters of the Master underneath the building. Requires a black badge to access. The entrance to the vault is hidden behind a fake bookcase. The bookcase in the southeastern corner can be used to activate the door with a lockpick, traps, or waiting until Jeremiah opens the door. The access cavern contains several floaters and centaurs, with mutants standing watch over the entrance. Two Nightkin stand guard at the entrance at all times.

The second level has a chapel, barracks, a large research lab where mad scientists work on awakening the psychic potential in humans, and the Psychic and test subject cells. The third level is guarded by Viscious. It is here that the elevator to secure storage is located. On the eastern side lies the corridor that leads to the Master. The Nuke key to the detonation console is held by Lieutenant.
