Henry "Hank" MacLean is a character in the Fallout Television Series.
Background
Pre-War
MacLean worked for Vault-Tec as the personal assistant of Barb Howard, which got him into the Bud's Buds program. This resulted in him being cryogenically frozen in Vault 31 to be a future Overseer.
Post-War
MacLean was unfrozen to become the new Overseer for Vault 33 on August 9, 2268. He was then "traded" to Vault 33. He got married to Rose MacLean and had two kids with her, Lucy and Norm. Hank is eventually voted as the Overseer of Vault 33 from 2271 to 2297.
Rose MacLean decides to escape the Vault with her kids and live in the wasteland, settling in Shady Sands. Hank goes after her, and after finding the city, he decides that the city is a threat to Vault-Tec's Reclamation and blows it up with a nuclear device. He takes the kids back to the Vault and leaves Rose for dead, telling the kids that she died during a famine.
During the Vault 32 trade, he is captured by the raiders that pretended to be Vault 32 dwellers. Moldaver and the raiders eventually overpower the remaining living members of Vault 33, and present Hank with the choice of saving either Lucy or the rest of the vault dwellers. He chooses Lucy and is shot multiple times in the back with tranquilizers and taken away by Moldaver and her people.
At Griffith Observatory, Hank was kept in a steel cage overlooking the ghoulified Rose MacLean, and is kept as Moldaver needs the code from a Vault-Tec employee to unlock the Cold Fusion technology device.
Once he is liberated from the cage by Maximus, he jumps in a Brotherhood T-60 Power Armor, knocks Maximus unconscious and asks Lucy to come with him. He is rejected, shot by The Ghoul in the cheek, and escapes the observatory by activating the Power Armor jetpack system.
He is last seen overlooking New Vegas.
