The Independent Fallout Wiki's policies outline the guidelines that facilitate high-quality, comprehensive, and accessible documentation while supporting a positive, productive, and collaborative environment focused on the Fallout Series. Policies are reviewed annually.
Introduction
Our governance, including policies and guidelines, are driven, dictated, and created by community members. Policies provide a reference for editors on recommended courses of action. They consider the collective experience of the many editors who have contributed to the body of knowledge, a summary of discussions about how to best accomplish certain tasks. New editors on the site are not required to read through all of these policies and guidelines before participating in the site, but should understand their purpose in guiding content and those to contribute.
Site information
The community of the Independent Fallout Wiki has the authority and control over most of the content on the site, with the exception of pages that are restricted to administrators. Editors allow their contributions to the Independent Fallout Wiki to be edited, altered, or removed by the community. If users do not want their contributions to be edited, they should not submit them.
