The US Postal Service, also known as the USPS, was a pre-War agency responsible for transporting packages, letters and other mail across the United States.[1]
Background
The USPS ran post offices across the country, and pre-War records of its policies and other information can be found on a terminal in the Clarksburg post office in Appalachia.[2]
Notes
Another entity known as the Post Office Department also functioned within the country before the war.
