(Redirected from Toxic dump site)

The toxic dump site is a location in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas. It is located east of Novac and north of Clark Field.

Background

Publications

Directly east of Novac [5.18] is a collection of dumped radioactive barrels, occasionally guarded by a Crazed Mister Handy. It doesn’t take much to bring him down, but he will go down fighting! There’s nothing else here except slight radiation poisoning.Fallout: New Vegas Official Game Guide/Tour of the Mojave Wasteland

Layout

The toxic dump site is situated north of the intersection that leads westward to Novac, Nelson to the east, and Clark Field to the south. The area is distinguished by a partially buried shipping container with radioactive barrels spilling out of the back. The container sits on the edge of a small cliff and has no loot inside or around it. The location is slightly irradiated.

Notes

A wastelander may appear in this location. He will wander back and forth from the road to the dump site and back, occasionally pausing to smoke a cigarette. When approached by the Courier, he has no dialogue options, simply telling them to go away. He may also be found fleeing. He may appear deceased, in which case he carries minor loot and will respawn three in-game days after the map cell is first loaded. He has 1 Hit Point and dies instantly upon taking any form of damage.

Appearances

The toxic dump site appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
