(Redirected from Thomas farm)

The Thomas Farm is an unmarked location in the Savage Divide region of Appalachia.

Background

The arm belonged to Bill Thomas before the Great War. When his dog, Winston, was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma,[1] he attempted to find a cure for his cancer using his medical knowledge from Vault-Tec University.[2] However, when he placed some of the medication in his Aerosolizer to better expose Winston to it, it sprayed chemicals all around and mutated the nearby deer, coating them white and making them looking albino in appearance.[3]

Layout

The fields of the farm grow tato, wild blackberry and corn. There are two main buildings in the area, a large barn and a farmhouse to the north. An Aerosolizer stands outside of the barn. Inside of the barn is a large number of hay bales and several 55-gallon barrels of glyphosate in a corner. Heading up the stairs, there are a few junk items that can be looted from the shelves.

Mr. Thomas' terminal sits on a desk nearby, and there is a poster of the periodic table of the elements on the wall behind it. Next to that is a chalkboard stating that two cures had already been attempted, while the third one's success was still up in the air. Cure #3 can be found in a glowing jar on the same floor. Across from this section is a collection of sleeping bags and ammo boxes. The farmhouse is mostly destroyed and faces a cliff, but contains little aside from the clues needed for the Unsolved: Best of Intentions quest.
