The Plasma Rifle Mag. Accelerator is a Weapon Mod sold in Fallout: New Vegas.

Effects

This mod increases the speed of bolts fired by a Plasma Rifle by 200%. It appears as a large sheath around the barrel with lights moving up and down that appear to be a series of electromagnetic coils (which would explain the increased velocity since plasma can be manipulated by electromagnetic fields).

Notes

• Prior to Patch 1.3.0.452, the Mag. Accelerator was only worth 250 Caps.
• When aiming in first-person with a Plasma Rifle while this modification is installed and true iron-sights is turned off, the modification obstructs the player's aim and makes it difficult to see targets at a distance.
