A peanut is a consumable mentioned both before and after the Great War.
Background
Commonly referred to as a nut and served in a similar fashion, peanuts are mentioned by wastelanders including in jokes told by a comedian at the Shark Club.[1][2][3]
In the King's School of Impersonation, a chalkboard lists peanut butter and banana sandwiches as one of pointers for how best to emulate Elvis Presley.[4]
Peanuts were described by Buster Connolly of the Boston Bugle as having been for years a part of baseball fans' diets.[5] Also seen as a type of food dispensed by food synthesizers in the Institute.
Appearances
Peanuts are mentioned in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout Tactics.
