Kurisu is a tribal from in 2241, who, in 2253, becomes leader of the Blackfoot tribe.

Background

Other interactions

  • The Chosen One and Sulik were meant to search for the latter's sister, who had been kidnapped by slavers. However, this quest was cut and the slave camp along with Kurisu herself is nowhere to be found.
  • The Prisoner can make her a companion if they convince her to leave her tribe. This is only possible if there is a backup leader, such as Chagas, available for the tribe.

Appearances

Kurisu first appeared in Fallout 2, but was not given a name. She was initially meant to be found in the game, but this quest was eventually left unfinished and Kurisu is unused in the final version. She also was to appear in Black Isle's canceled Fallout 3 project (Van Buren) as a joinable ally.

Behind the scenes

Her name was revealed in the Van Buren leaks. The name Kurisu is a joke concerning Avellone's first name: "Chris" is pronounced クリス (Kurisu) when translated into Japanese.[Dev 1]
