Jane is a Securitron found in the Lucky 38 Penthouse in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background
Jane is a PDQ-88b Mk 1 Securitron, with her neuro-computational matrix being an exact copy of Mr. House's "favorite girl".[1][2] She is responsible for keeping Mr. House "entertained" and taking care of all of his needs, stating that he has a lot that she won't "kiss and tell" about.[2]
She helps manage Mr. House's antique snow globe collection, and will compensate the Courier if she is brought one.[3]

Notes
- If the Securitrons are upgraded during The House Always Wins II, the Courier can comment that Jane looks "different somehow" and ask if she cut her hair.[4]
- She also has a unique greeting, commenting that she feels tingly and that she now has a rocket launcher.[5]
- Jane will comment on the latest quest the Courier has done for Mr. House:
- If The House Always Wins III is completed, she comments that the Boomers have "awfully big guns".[6]
- If The House Always Wins IV is completed, she tells the player that Mr. House "was as giddy as a schoolboy" when he heard of what the Courier did with the Omertas.[7]
- If The House Always Wins V is completed, she will ask if those "nasty Brotherhood of Steel brutes" were dealt with and says Mr. House will be "so glad".[8]
- The House Always Wins VI is completed and President Kimball's assassination was thwarted, she states that Mr. House "went on about martyrs and misadventures" because of it.[9]
- Jane will be no longer present if the Courier destroys or disables Mr. House, and may become hostile.
- Snow Globes given to her will be on display in the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite.
- When asked about the Three Families, she pronounces the Ultra-Luxe as "loox" instead of "lux" like most characters.
Quotes

- "I'm Jane, one of Mr. House's girls. We keep him... entertained. We don't get many guests lately; perhaps we can entertain you as well."
- "Sugar, I may be a robot on the outside, but on the inside, my neuro-computational matrix is an exact copy of Mr. House's favorite girl."
- "Mr. House has a lot of needs, sugar. I take care of all of them, and a lady doesn't kiss and tell."
Appearances

Behind the scenes
Jane is a reference to the 1950s film star Jane Russell, who began her film career in a movie with Howard Hughes, the man upon who Mr. House is based. In real life, Jane Russell was friends with Marilyn Monroe. A Securitron named Marilyn was intended to appear in the game, as seen in the concept art and the Collector's Edition playing cards, but is unused in the final release.
