Doctor Hayward was an employee of the Nuka-Cola Corporation at the Kanawha Nuka-Cola plant before the Great War.
Background
Dr. Hayward requested that the experimental drink formula codenamed "Albatross" be placed on a backlog. Hayward believed that it required additional research into chemical reactions with gastric acid.[1]
