Gamebryo, formerly NetImmerse, is a multi-platform suite of game engine libraries from Gamebase Co., Ltd. and Gamebase USA, written in the C++ programming language, and was used as a core component for the engine of several games in the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series.
Information
The use of the Gamebryo engine is seen in titles including, but not limited to, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Warhammer Online, Axis & Allies, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. It is used in conjunction with the Havok Physics Engine in the Fallout Series. It was also used as a part of the Creation Engine.

Behind the Scenes
Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Fallout 4 use Gamebryo version 2.2. TES4: Oblivion used 2.1, and TES3: Morrowind used NetImmerse version 4.0.
