Fallout in other media

Borderlands 2

Playable characters Zero and Maya both have alternate skins in blue and yellow labeled "vault suit" and "vault dweller."
Three Dog is referenced with a unique gun named "Thre Dog." Its description references one of Three Dog's radio intros, "because one barrel ain't enough, and two is too few," the quote being "because one dog ain't enough, and two is too low, it's me, Three Dog!"

Brink

A DLC includes Fallout-themed character customization options for both Security and Resistance characters. Available by pre-ordering Brink through Best Buy or Play.com, and was also available for purchase on Steam and Xbox LIVE.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]
The pack included a unique Vault 101 body tattoo, Vault 101 (Security) and Fallout: New Vegas Vault Boy (Resistance) customized skins for the CARB-9 SMG, Vault 101 (Security) and Fallout: New Vegas Vault Boy (Resistance) t-shirts, and a Vault-Tec beanie cap (Security) and Fallout bandana (Resistance).

Cookie Clicker

An upgrade titled "Winning lottery ticket" is available at Blueberrylium tier for Chancemakers. It's descriptin reads "What lottery? THE lottery, that's what lottery! Only lottery that matters!". It references Oliver Swanick and quotes from his reaction to winning the Nipton lottery.
Additionally, an achievement unlocked by making 100 Octillion cookies from just tapping is titled "Ain't that a click in the head", referencing Ain't That a Kick in the Head? by Dean Martin, which prominently plays on Radio New Vegas in Fallout: New Vegas.

Cyberpunk 2077

In the Badlands, corpses are found around a circular dish that reads "101" on the front.
One of the deceased was named Albert Cole, a live-action roleplayer who was acting out a post-apocalyptic scenario where they leave the safety of Bunker 101 for the first time since nuclear war.
Their roleplay involved an attempt to find a "hydroprocessor" to supply fresh water to the "bunker dwellers," referencing the Fallout storyline.

Doom

Doom (2016): Vault-Tec logos are found on heavy vault doors in the Mars facility at the beginning of the game.
Doom Eternal: Items are found in the Doom Slayer's "Fortress of Doom" such as Vault Dweller's Survival Guide - Preparing Yourself and Your Loved Ones For the Inevitable Nuclear Apocalypse, Nuka-Cola - A History from the Atomic Age of Flavor and a Teddy Fear.
Ashes 2063: A post-apocalypse-themed total conversion mod for Doom II, created by Vostyok. In the mod, there are t-shirts stylized after Vault Jumpsuits and a pre-War company named "Pole-Vault Tek" that features Vault Boy with a top hat and a mustache as its mascot.

Dota 2

For preordering Fallout 4 through Steam, Dota 2 players received an announcer pack featuring Mister Handy.^[5]

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

One of the potential quest rewards in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Very Special Edition is a bottle of Nuka-Cola. The narrator comments "This must be some sort of mistake."

Genshin Impact

Part of the Fontaine world quest "The Illusion's Finishings" added in 2023. It is a reference to the Two-Bears-High-Fiving encounter and Psychological evaluation at the beginning of Fallout: New Vegas.

The Evil Within 2

One of the hidden collectibles in The Evil Within 2 is a Vault-Tec Bobblehead.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Ghostwire: Tokyo contains a side mission named "The Crimson Moon." Completing this mission rewards the player with the "Fallout 4 Vault Suit" outfit. The item description reads "This suit can get you through some tough times."

Goat Simulator 3

The video game Goat Simulator 3 contains the quest The Big Red Button which involves detonating an atomic bomb. The quest rewards the player with a Vault 55 suit which is named Fallout Boi. The item description reads "Goat. Goat never changes" in reference to the Fallout Series tagline.

Henry Stickmin Collection

In the episode "Infiltrating the Airship", the option is presented for Henry to use "Armor" in his escape from the Airship. This is a reference to Power Armor, the specific model depicted being the T-45 Power Armor.
In the episode "Completing the Mission", the option is presented for Henry to use the "Very Accurate Targetting System" to eliminate a helicopter pilot. This is a reference to V.A.T.S.. In Addition, the icon used for the "Very Accurate Targetting System" is a Pip-Boy, specifically a Pip-Boy 3000 Model.

Hi-Fi Rush

Fallout is referenced in the 2023 Tango Gameworks video game Hi-Fi Rush, which was published by Bethesda Softworks.

If the player completes all the bonus doors within the game they gain access to the lair of the main villain, Kale Vandelay. In the room are notes written by Kale considering different business ideas, each referencing games published by Bethesda Softworks such as The Evil Within, Prey, Deathloop, and Fallout.

In one note he considers the idea of advertising underground survival shelters which would actually subject the inhabitants to social experiments for centuries, referencing the Vault-Tec vaults. He dismisses the idea as unprofitable, and questions what the information gained from the experiments would even be useful for.

Jeopardy!

The trivia game show Jeopardy! has featured two clues related to the Fallout series. On February 24, 2011, "The latest "Fallout" game takes place in this city after your character is left to die in a Mojave grave" was a clue in the category Computer Games, with the correct answer being Las Vegas, a reference to Fallout: New Vegas. On July 11, 2017, "The Wasteland is the result of nuclear war; exit one of these title shelters & rebuild in the 4th edition" was a clue in the category Video Games, with the correct answer being Fallout.

Minecraft

Main article: Minecraft: Fallout Edition

The "Fallout Mash-Up" pack (also referred to as the "Vault-Tec Mash-Up" pack in some stores) includes characters skins such as Preston Garvey, Harold, Colonel Autumn, and Three Dog. Locations from the games such as Vault 101, Vault 111, Diamond City, The Citadel, The Prydwen, The Cathedral, and the Mariposa Military Base are also included. Default creatures are changed to mirror Fallout equivalents, such as the Iron Golem becoming Liberty Prime, the pig becoming a Mole Rat, and the cow becoming a Brahmin. The Gold armor is T-45 Power Armor and the Diamond armor is instead X-01 Power Armor.

The Outer Worlds

A "Great War" on Earth that took place during the mid-21st century is mentioned.
October 23 is the date that the Hope colony ship is found, the same day as the Great War.
The number 13 is stenciled throughout colony ship interiors.

Prey

The note "Eel Tank Maintenance Manual" is described in an email printout from "\\vault13.Talos.lan\LS_WaterTreatment," a reference to Vault 13.

Rage

A Charisma Bobblehead is found in the town of Wellspring on the mayor's desk.
In the Subway Town, a picture in a magazine is a freeze-frame of a nuclear explosion seen in Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Role-Playing Game game with the tag line, "War, war never changes." The player can also see the explosion and an eyebot in the surrounding area.

Rocket League

In the video game Rocket League, it is possible to acquire a Vault Boy bobblehead antenna.^[6]

Run Like Hell

In the 2002 game Run Like Hell, Released by Digital Mayhem and Published by Interplay, the player is able to buy a type of protein bar called "PIP Boy Protein Bars", the icon of which is a brown box with the image of a muscular Vault Boy on. Additionally, on account of a deal with Interplay at the time, the player can purchase Bawls energy drink, much like in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Vault Boy appears as a DLC Mii costume for the Mii Gunner.^[7]

Surviving Mars

A random event involves a water chip, vital to the player's Martian colony, accidentally delivered "somewhere in southern California."
The SPECIAL system is referenced in the form of an achievement named "S.P.E.C.I.A.L."

Team Fortress 2

A Pip-Boy was a cosmetic item in Valve's Team Fortress 2, awarded to players who owned Fallout: New Vegas before August 8, 2011. As of the August 9 patch, the item could be purchased, traded, crafted, gifted, and found in random drops by all players. The Pip-Boy can only be equipped by the Engineer.

Tenacious D

The song Video Games by rock duo Tenacious D includes a brief segment referencing Fallout 4. In the music video, singer Jack Black witnesses an atomic bomb detonate in a ruined city, before a Deathclaw appears and rips fellow band member Kyle Gass in half.

Underrail

A strange wrist computer, resembling a Pip-Boy, and described as a "commercial civilian wrist computer," with a target audience of "young blonde men in jump suits," is found.
The Garden of Evan Creation Kit Manual is a reference to the Garden of Eden Creation Kit.

Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt

Peasants remark "War - it just never changes." and in Scoia'tael camps, inhabitants say "War... War changes everything."
After the completion of the DLC quest "Fools' Gold," a Lurtch village peasant sitting on the side of the road will comment "War, war never changes."

Wolfenstein: The New Order/The Old Blood

On soda machines, the Nuka-Cola logo can be found among other in-universe brands.

Xbox LIVE

Fallout-themed items could be purchased and added to user avatars, part of the Avatar Game Style Xbox LIVE feature.^[8] Items included a Vault Boy head, Vault Boy suit, Vault 101 suit, Fallout 3 ringer shirt, Vault Boy shirt, and a Bethesda Game Studios shirt.

Doom

Content from Fallout Shelter Online featuring the Doom series. The game added the Doom Slayer and demons from Doom Eternal as a limited-pool character available between September 9-16, 2020.^[9]
