Dogs are creatures found in Appalachia.
Gameplay
Two mutated counterparts of dogs can be found in Appalachia, including mongrels and the mutant hounds. Dogs have special animations where they can grapple enemies down to the ground and hold them in place allowing their masters a brief advantage in combat.

Locations
- A scorched attack dog can be called in as reinforcements during the Scorched Earth event.
- A tameable one can appear in a random encounter.
- Summoned by the alarm at Blood Eagles camps, or accompanying them on patrols.

- Rufus, the dog of Dave, at the Freak Show.
- A dog is found on top of a cliff that overlooks Harpers Ferry.
- Bloppo, former companion of Maul.
- Chloe, the dog of Heather Ellis.
- Private Lucky, the dog of the Military Specialists.
- Badger, the Putnams' dog.
Notes
Dogs are a potential candidate for taming. If found alone in a random encounter, the player character can send the tamed beast to their C.A.M.P. for defense.
