Crescent Canyon east is the eastern entrance to a gully below a collapsed bridge south of Mojave Drive-in in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background
Publications
Pass the container truck with the barrels, and look east to see the remains of a bridge above. Continue to the remains of the fallen bridge and railroad carriages, along with an irradiated (and tough) Protectron guard. The canyon base of the eastern entrance also yields a Hollowed-Out Rock. Up on the railroad line, there’s nothing at the collapsed bridge except a red carriage, and a spectacular view northward.”— Fallout: New Vegas Official Game Guide/Tour of the Mojave Wasteland
Layout
Crescent Canyon east is the eastern side of a large crescent-moon-shaped canyon connecting with Crescent Canyon west, forming a natural barrier along the southern end of the map. It is populated by golden geckos and is strewn with radioactive waste barrels. A train hangs over the canyon from the roadway above, with some cars resting at the bottom of the canyon. The canyon is irradiated, resulting in 4 rads/second. At the east end of the canyon, there is a hollowed-out rock at the bottom of the hill to the right.
Loot
There is an advanced radiation suit roughly half-way through the canyon, near an overturned truck in a marked case.
Notes
On the north side of the railroad, after the train car, the road becomes a normal street with no railroad tracks continuing on the other side or found in the canyon below.
Appearances
Crescent Canyon east appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.
Behind the scenes
Crescent Canyon east is located in the same geographical area as the real world Crescent Canyon, below Crescent Peak in the McCullough Range of the Mojave Desert.
