For the location in Fallout 3, see Capitol Post. |
The Capitol Post or Capital Post was a pre-War newspaper.
Background
Several of its articles can be read at the company's office in L'Enfant Plaza, dealing with pre-War news such as the disbanding of the United Nations, the annexation of Canada, the Anchorage Reclamation, the new super weapon of the U.S. Army under development or the Pint-Sized Slasher. An American War Correspondent can be encountered in the Anchorage Reclamation Simulation in Operation: Anchorage, taking the picture which became the template for the Anchorage War Memorial.[1]
Vault-Tec Corporation ran advertisements in the paper, featuring movie star Cooper Howard. Headlines such as "Nuka-Cola Walks Back New-Nuka," "Reds Losing Territory!," and "Wilson Atomatoys Face Lawsuit Over Giddyup Buttercup" can be seen.
