The Bureau of Alcohol, Drugs, Tobacco, Firearms, and Lasers or BADTFL was a law enforcement organization before the Great War.[1]
Background
The organization was responsible for the investigation of ownership of illicit objects and substances.[2][3] The group was involved in preventing and apprehending those engaged in gun rings.[4]
Duchess, an Appalachian drug kingpin, was able to utilize their contacts within the agency to deal with Gerald Whitehead, a corrupt police officer who attempted to take their territory by way of intimidation.[5] The BADTFL was actively involved in the investigation of Eddie Winter, known as Operation Winter's End.[6]
