Astoundingly Awesome is a magazine perk in Fallout 4. It has fourteen ranks, each received by reading one of the fourteen different issues of Astoundingly Awesome Tales.
Effects
Reading an issue of this comic will grant the player character a perk, each of which is different. The editor ID of each of the perks matches the editor ID of the magazines that give the perk; however, this usually is not the number in the name of the perk displayed in the Pip-Boy.

Notes
- The perk provided by My Brain and I... (A Twisted Love Tale) is restores health at 1 point per in-game minute.
- Dogmeat has PerkMagAwesomeTalesDogmeat "Astoundingly Awesome 15" [PERK:00169693] but it is initially inactive until player.HasPerk 169692 is true, completed by the player picking up the magazine and received its perk. When that condition is satisfied, Dogmeat's own perk will activate, removing 10% of his incoming weapon damage.
- The +5 radiation resistance provided by Giant Insects Invade applies to both external radiation sources and radiation from consumed items, giving it a similar effect to the Lead Belly perk.
Bugs
The +5% damage bonus from The Starlet Sniper issue (No. 11) does not work at all in the vanilla game.
