Angel was a U.S. Army military working dog who was part of Captain Oliver Fields' squad which attempted to maintain order in Pittsburgh in the aftermath of the Great War.
Background
Angel was part of a military canine team, along with Odysseus and Private Lucky, under an Army squad that included Captain Fields, Sergeant Thompson, and Sergeant Radcliff. They were in Pittsburgh at some point after the Great War, attempting to maintain order, though "shit hit the fan" when they attempted to rescue several civilians and Captain Fields took a bullet. Sergeant Thompson ordered Angel and Odysseus to protect Fields, though Angel lost a front leg in the ensuing fight.[1]
