The Alamo is mentioned on the cover of the January edition of the Backwoodsman magazines. The cover reads, "It was like the Alamo ... with bears."^[1] Mad Johnny Wes has nicknamed his section of Hubris Comics "the Alamo."^{[Pub 1]}
