The advanced radiation suit is a piece of light armor in Fallout: New Vegas.
Gameplay
Especially designed to allow the user to enter irradiated areas without taking damage. Other headwear or glasses can't be worn at the same time as the suit.
It has the same appearance as a normal radiation suit, but has 33% higher Radiation Resistance. It is also more durable (25 item HP, compared to the ordinary radiation suit's 15) and has a higher DT (6 rather than 4). It has the same radiation resistance as a space suit, but is less durable and has a lower DT.
Locations
- Cottonwood Cove - Cursor Lucullus will wear one if the radioactive barrels at Cottonwood Overlook are released.
- Crimson Caravan Company - Blake sells them occasionally.
- Followers Safehouse - Can be found on a Bed.
- Central Sewers - In the room with the central sewer access terminal. The suit is in an Average locked (Lockpick 50) radiation suit case.
- Crescent Canyon East - In a radiation suit case near an overturned blue truck.
- The Great Khan Armorer sells them occasionally.
- Quartermaster Bardon at the Hoover Dam Offices sells them.
